Why is prayer so important in all religions?

Hello Yehuda Shenef!

First of all, a warm greeting regarding the reunion.

Since I believe in God as my life-giver, it is a matter of course for me to pray to Him!

The opportunity to meet you, I use again to a Bible transmission:

There is only one founder of religion who, by an exact and detailed prophecy that was fulfilled in him, has declared himself to be coming from God: Jesus Christ.

Translation basis of the biblical quotations: Unitary translation

Messiah prophecies

regarding his first appearance

Hebrew scriptures

Genesis 49/10

The scepter, the Lord= never departs from Judah

from his feet until he who belongs comes, to whom the obedience of the peoples is due.

Christian scriptures

Family tree of Jesus Christ. The son of Da= vids, the son of Abraham, Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac of Jacob, Jacob of Judah, and his brethren.

All the kings of Judah from David to the last, Zedekiah, came from the tribe of Judah; from Babylonian exile to the appearance of the Messiah, there was no longer a Judean king, only governors of the respective ruling world power. The one “to whom it belongs” was supposed to appear at the beginning of the first century, but not yet appear as an incumbent regent; he was first to act as a Redeemer.

Mica 5/2

But you, Bethlehem Efrata, so small among the gaues of Judah, one that shall rule over Israel will come out of you.Its origins lie in the distant pre-period.

When Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea at the time of King Herod…

There were two Bethlehem in Palestine, hence the clarification of the prophet “Bethlehem-Efrata”.An important indication of the Prophet is that the expected Messiah has a pre-human existence.

Therefore the Lord will give you a sign of her own: Behold, the virgin will receive a child, she will bear a son, and she will give him the name

Immanuel (God with us).

all these things have been done, that what the Lord said through the prophet may be fulfilled: Behold, the virgin will receive a child, a son shall give birth to her, and the name immanuel shall be given to him.

that is, translated: God is with us.

The Hebrew word for “virgin” can also mean “mature.”But that a “mature” becomes pregnant is not a miracle sign, for this happens thousands of times every day, but that a virgin becomes pregnant is such a (miracle) sign.

Jesus received several prophetic titles: according to Isa.9/5 (orVerse 6 according to other classification) wonderful counselor, strong God, Father forever, Prince of Peace. The title “God with us” (Immanuel) is also a title, because its name should be “Jesus” according to the angel’s instructions (Luk.1/31).

Thus says the Lord: a cry is heard in Ramah, bitter lamentation and whiteness, Rachel weeps for her children, and will not be comforted, for they are gone.

At that time, what was said by the Pro= pheten was fulfilled: a cry was heard in Ramah; loud crying and lamenting; Rachel weeps for their children, and will not be comforted, for they were gone.

Matthew certainly wrote down the historical truth.Critics doubt the historicity of this event, because there is no archaeological confirmation, which in itself proves nothing; it has often been the case that historians have been reluctant to report the indecency of rulers.

A voice cries: Make a way for the Lord through the desert.Build a flat road in the steppe to our God

It was he who the prophet Jezaiah said, A voice calls in the wilderness, Prepare the way for the Lord.Ebb the road for him

John the Baptist proved to be this precursor. He appeared six months before the appearance of Jesus and pointed out the soon-to-be Messiah

When Israel was young, I loved him, I called my son out of Egypt.

He remained there until herod’s death. For what the Lord said through the prophet was to be fulfilled: I called my son out of Egypt.

In Context of the prophetic text is mentioned in Israel, but on the other hand Israel is nowhere referred to as a son, but as a symbolic woman (Jer.3/20); moreover, a prophecy with multiple fulfillment would not be an isolated case in theBible.

The Spirit of God the Lord rests upon me, for the Lord has anointed me.He has sent me to bring a glad tidings to the poor, and to heal all whose hearts are broken, that I may proclaim to the prisoners the release, and to the captives, that I may proclaim a year of grace of the Lord, a day of retribution of our God.

The book of the prophet Jesaia was given to him.He opened the book and found the place where it is said, The Spirit of the Lord rests upon me, for the Lord has anointed me. He sent me to bring good news to the poor: that I may declare release to the prisoners, and the blind to see; that I may set the broken in freedom and proclaim a year of grace of the Lord… Then he began to explain to them that today the scripture that you have just heard has been fulfilled.

Seventy weeks are for your people / and your holy city until the iniquity is finished, until sin is sealed and the iniquity is atoned for, until eternal righteousness is brought, / until visions and prophecies are sealed / and a holy thing anointed. Now understand and understand:

But when the time (prophecy) was fulfilled, God sent His Son, born of a woman and subject to the law.

From the proclamation of the Word to the repatriation of the people and the

Reconstruction of Jerusalem until the arrival of an anointed prince, it is seven weeks; and for sixty-two weeks the city is rebuilt with its places and trenches, though it will be a distressed time. After sixty-two weeks, a

Anointed killed, but without (judgment). The people of a prince who shall come bring destruction upon the city and the sanctuary. It comes to an end in the flood: to the end, war and devastation will reign, as has long been decided. To many, he makes the covenant difficult, for a week. In the middle of this week, he puts an end to the sacrifices and food sacrifices. At the top of the sanctuary there will be an evil abomination until the destruction that has been decided comes upon the desolation.

the unit translation (besides others) has the following inaccuracies:

“Seventy weeks are for your people…”

the Jewish translation of Naftali Heart Tur-Sinai (NHTS) gives this verse with “Seventy (year) weeks are determined over your people…”. The Jews knew not only literal weeks but also weeks of the year (Genesis 25/3,4 ); and that is really the point. [1

“Until the arrival of an anointed prince, it is seven weeks; and for sixty-two weeks the city is rebuilt…”

NHTS reproduces this verse as follows: “Until the anointed, the prince / are seven weeks./ And sixty-two weeks / so it will be built again” The translator makes a hyphen between “weeks / so will”; the “62” do not refer to the reconstruction of Jerusalem. What would be the point of separating 7 and 62 if the sum of both were to relate both to the reconstruction of the city and to the coming of the anointed? Obviously, the 7 refers to the reconstruction of the city and the (7 + 62) to the coming of the anointed.Again, NHTS is more accurate, because the Jews were expecting the Messiah, not a Messiah. The appearance of the Messiah should take place immediately after the (7 + 62) weeks, but his killing only in the middle of the 70th week, when he “puts an end to the sacrifices and food sacrifices” by providing the perfect sacrifice of the victims. prophetic sacrifices that point to him become meaningless.

killed, but without (judgment).

NHTS reproduces this verse as follows: “the anointed is exterminated and has no (successor)”, which in turn is more precise, because a judgment was made in the case of Jesus, but he has no successor, since he himself, as a resurrected man, is the office assigned to him. takes over.

brings destruction upon the city and the sanctuary. It comes to an end in the flood:

NHTS reproduces this verse as follows: “and the city and the sanctuary shall perish the people of the prince that comes, and its end, in flood,…”

Kittel in his BIBLIA HEBRAICA translates: “And the people of a prince will come and destroy the city and the sanctuary, but then the end comes through a flood…”.The destroyer (General Titus; 70 uZ) did not end in the flood (the armies of war)!

For many, he makes it difficult for many to

the follow-up verse shows that there is talk of the anointed (Messiah) (which puts an end to the sacrifices) and not of the spoiler, which only appears decades after the 70th week of the year.

The verse has obviously caused headaches for the translators. There is talk of the Messiah (Jesus) and of a covenant. NHTS reproduces the verse below: “and it will be strong in the covenant for many / on a week /…”. Kittel writes similarly to the standard translation. Since I rather allow a Jew to understand the meaning of Hebrew words, and he obviously comes closer to the meaning with the word “strong”. What should be the case for a week in the facts and which covenant? Three and a half years after the death of Jesus, and thus for the entire 70th week of the year, in accordance with the Abrahamic covenant, only the Jews should be granted the privilege of hearing the Gospel of the Messiah.

Translating from languages that do not know punctuation marks is, of course, not easy.I now re-enlivethed the entire four verses in the New World Translation:

Dan.9/24-27 (NW)……… Seventy weeks are the ones that have been appointed upon your people and upon your holy city to put an end to transgression and to put an end to sin, and to make atonement for transgression, and to bring righteousness to unforeseeable times, and a seal on vision, and Prophet to press and anoint the most sacred. 25 And you should know, and have the understanding, that it will be from the outing of the word to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, until [the leader) seven weeks away.It will return and actually be rebuilt, with a public square and ditch, but in the affliction of times. 26 And after the sixty-two weeks, [the Messas) will be cut off with nothing for themselves. And the city and the holy place, the people of a leader who comes, will bring them to destruction. And the end of it will be through the flood. And until the end there will be war; what has been decided is devastation. 27 And he shall keep the covenant in force for the many for a week; and half of the week he shall cease sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of heinous things will be the one who causes devastation; and until an extermination, it is precisely what has been decided that will also pour out upon the desolate lying one.”

For who is now in need does not remain in the dark.He once despised the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphti, but later he brought back the road by the sea, the land beyond the Jordan, the territory of the Gentiles. The people who live in the dark / see a bright light; above those who dwell in the land of darkness , a light shines forth. You exude loud cheers / and give great joy. You are happy near you,…

He left Nazareth to live in Capernaum, which is located on the lake, in the area of Zebulun and Naphti. For what was said by the prophet was to be fulfilled: the land of Zebulun and napli, the road by the sea, the territory beyond Jordaan, the pagan Galilee, the people that lived in the dark, has seen a bright light; / to those who lived in the shadow yeast of death, / is a light appeared

Ps:69/10 (or9)

for the zeal for your house has devoured me; the insults of those who reproach you have struck me.

John 2/16,17

To the pigeon dealers he said: if this is taken away here, do not turn my Va= ters’ house into a market hall! His young people remembered the word of Scripture: the zeal for your house consumed mic

Juble loud, daughter Zion!Jauchze, daughter Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you. He is just and helps; he is humble and rides on a donkey, on a foal, the boy of a donkey.

This is done, that what was said by the prophet may be fulfilled: Say to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your king comes to you.He is peaceful, / and he rides on a donkey / and on a foal, / the boy of a load animal.

I open my mouth to a saying, I will proclaim the mysteries of ancient times

Ps:69/5 (or4)

More numerous than the hair on my head / are the ones who hate me for no reason. Many are my spoilers, my mendacious enemies. / What I have not stolen, I should refund.

The number of his days is only small, / his office is to be given to another. His children shall be orphans / and his wife a widow.

I open my mouth and speak in parables, I proclaim what has been hidden since creation.

John 15/25

But the word that is written in their law should be fulfilled: for no reason did they hate me.

Acts 1/20

For it is written in the Book of Psalms, “His farm shall be desolate, no one shall dwell in it.”and: his office shall be given to another

There are nefarious witnesses./ I’m accused of things I don’t know about

Sword, raise up against my shepherd, against the man of my trust, saying of the Lord of armies: Beat the shepherd, then the sheep will be scattered.I put my hand up against the little ones

The high priest and the whole High Council sought false testimony against Jesus in order to be able to sentence him to death.

Then Jesus said to them, “All of you will take offense to me that night and fall away; for it says in the scriptures, I will slay the shepherd; then the sheep of the flock are scattered

He was despised and shunned by people, / a man full of pain, / familiar with illness.Like one, before whom one veils his face, he was despised; we didn’t appreciate him. But he carried our disease / and our pain was borne. We thought he was struck by God, / hit and bent by him. But he was pierced for our crimes, / crushed for our sins. For our salvation the punishment lay upon him, / through his sore we are healed. We had all got lost like sheep, / Everyone went his way for himself. But the Lord invited upon him / the guilt of all of us. He was mistreated and oppressed, / But he did not open mouths. Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, / and like a sheep in the face of his shearers, so he also did not open his mouth. He was swept away by imprisonment and court, /but who cared about his skill? He was cut off from the land of the living / and was taken to death because of the crimes of his people.

In the evening, many obsessed people were brought to him. He cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was said by the prophet Jesaia: He took upon himself our sufferings and borne our diseases.

John 19/37

and another scripture says, They will look upon him whom they have pierced.

Acts 8/32.35

The passage of the scripture he read was: Like a sheep, he was led to slaughter; / and like a lamb that falls silent, /if you shear it, / so he did not open his mouth…

Joseph took him and wrapped him in a pure linen cloth. Then he placed him in a new grave, which he had cut into a rock for himself

They gave me poison to eat, / for thirst they gave me vinegar.

They distribute my clothes among themselves / and throw the lot around my garment

Among the wicked, his grave was given to him, / his resting place to the criminals, though he did no wrong / and there was no deceptive word in his mouth.

Immediately one of them ran, dipped a sponge in vinegar, put it on a stick, and gave Jesus a drink.

After they had crucified him, they cast the lot and distributed his garments among themselves.

In the evening came a rich man from Arimath盲a named Joseph; he too was a disciple of Jesus. He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded that he be given the body. Joseph took him and wrapped him in a pure linen cloth. Then he placed him in a new tomb, which he had cut out for himself in a rock. He rolled a large stone in front of the entrance of the tomb and walked away.

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me, / are far from my cry, the words of my lament.

at the ninth hour Jesus cried out, Eli, eli, lema, sabachttani?, that is, my God, my God, why did you read me out

The righteous must suffer much, but the Lord will take him away from all things. He guards all his members, and not one of him is broken.

John 19/36

For this is done, that the scripture may be fulfilled: no leg shall be broken to him.

For you do not give me up to the underworld; you do not let your pious see the grave.

The stone that the builders rejected , / it has become a cornerstone.

Acts 2/31

Did he predict the resurrection of Christ: He does not give it to the underworld, and his body does not see decay.

Do you not have the stone which the builders rejected, and it has become a cornerstone.

How does this prophecy be explained, if not by God?And this prophecy is one of many. Smart minds think they were written down retrospectively. This interpretation is refuted by the fact that the Jews 鈥?who do not believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah 鈥?also have them in their Bible; in the part that Christians refer to as the Old Testament

And Jesus pointed out that the God of the Bible is the true God!His name according to the Bible is Jehovah (Yahweh)
