The windmills of Aarlanderveen or Kinderdijk, the canals of Amsterdam, the mussel yards of Yerseke, the bulb fields near Lisse in April, the Borger hune beds, the Zaanse Schans, drive from Hellevoetsluis to Vrouwenpolder and Westkapelle over the Zeeland Waterworks, Terschelling, de Hoge Veluwe with Kroller Moller and the Hunting lodge, Carnaval in Den Bosch, Maastricht with Bemelerberg, Geuldal with Valkenburg and estates, the Kennemerduinen, Kampen with Beulakerwijde, Kalenberg and Giethoorn, the Groninger dal Of the Ruiten Aa and Westerwolde.
I would mainly look for places that are not obvious, but show the Netherlands. For example, with German friends I went to Leiden. A typical Dutch town, with canals and small streets and stuff. Our friends loved it.
And we also have a lot of regional splendor. In The green heart is much to do. I would take them with the water on it. Enjoy boating on the Langeraarse Plassen. Or to the Braeser Lake (that’s for us to do). But you can also rent a small boat at the Nieuwkoopse Plassen.
A trip to the Achterhoek is also fun.Villa Mondriaan in Winterswijk. I am not a fan of Mondrian, but it is an icon and Villa Mondriaan is a special place, where they are always the youngest museum director of the Netherlands.
As far as beach is concerned I would prefer to go to the piece between Kijkduin and Scheveningen at The Hague.Or maybe somewhere between Wassenaar and Katwijk or north of Noordwijk. Just as beautiful beach, less known to non-locals.
And maybe I would go looking for something that I myself don’t know so well. Then we all discover what.
The tourist highlights can do everyone. You don’t need local knowledge:).
Still my own city and the attractions to be seen there.
Of course, Amsterdam is not really the Netherlands and forgive tourists, it doesn’t really give a picture of how the Netherlands really looks.

Madurodam. In a few hours they have a pretty compleet image of the whole country and by paying attention to what they like most, you can organize a next event.
Caf茅 earphones fences at the Waal in Ooij, or the Veerhuis near the Maas in Oeffelt.
Both offer beautiful opportunities for walking and admiring the river landscape.
I always take foreign visitors to the beach, preferably above Bergen, Noord Holland, and then a car tour over highway, provincial roads and Country Road to a city, the differences of all make a reasonable picture of how our country a little in Each other in terms of landscape
I would definitely go for Giethoorn,
