To answer your first question: Is Ripple (payment network) a good investment?
Whether or not you participate in the purchase/investment in a cryptocurrency/investment is up to you alone, and you should not seek investment advice from anyone, especially with regard to the cryptocurrency.why? Because you have absolutely no idea what their intentions are. “Bagholders” are people who hold a lot of coins and talk about it much higher than it is true to interest people in buying the coin, which in turn increases the value of their own holdings.
Whether you participate in the ripple collection is up to you.The process described below will be similar when cryptocurrency is purchased at almost any place in the world. This is not investment advice and you should talk to an investment advisor about whether this is a good choice or not.
Bitfinex is one of the larger exchanges for Ripple and has recently discontinued its services to those in the United States – no problem!Just an extra step for us. (Steps also for EU / Eastern buyers!)
In the first step you need to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin or any other cryptocurrency that is traded against Fiat (USD / EURO / GBP) at Coinbase or Changelly. These are probably the fastest options to get into crypto.
Fortunately, Changelly offers to buy Ripple with Fiat. There are many places where you can exchange ideas if you don’t want to use Changelly – let’s dive into it.
In the second step, you need to create an account and (or if you already have one) send the fiat-purchased cryptocurrency to the stock exchange to then acquire Ripple.
The exchanges I have used on the list of exchanges you can buy Ripple are Binance, CEX.
HitBTC, Poloniex, Bittrex and Bitfinex.
The only exchanges on this list that I trust and continue to use are Binance, CEX, HitBTC and Bittrex.
(apart from Changelly)
We as US consumers can’t use Bitfinex anyway (strange stuff with their leadership and USDT (tether)).
As a U.S. citizen, you have access to the above exchanges.
This response was addressed to US citizens. However, if you are in the EU or the Eastern Hemisphere, you will essentially follow the same steps as above. Instead of Coinbase to get fiat crypto, you would probably use CEX, CoinMate or BitStamp.
