I am 28 and I still don’t know what I want to do with my life. What should I do to get visions or goals in life?

Many people live their lives without knowing what they want. They often follow others.And they just do what is expected of them.

Think of yourself

It is impossible to know exactly what you want in life when you are continually sacrificing for others.You have to put yourself in the first place. Ask yourself: If I wasn’t tied to my job, family, friends or anything, what would I do at the moment? Remember that it is okay to think of yourself first, because no one else will do that for you.

2.Don’t regret

Do not feel guilty when you first think of yourself.It’s your life. It’s time to lead your life exactly the way you want. If you are constantly sorry about things that you did or did not do in the past, then you are not able to move forward. Do not live in the past. Live in the now, and in the future.

3.Decide what you need

Sometimes it’s hard to make out what you need.So go for it and think about what you need most. Is it your family? The freedom to express yourself? Love? Financial security? Anything else? It can help to make a list of priorities. And think about what you want to fail.

4.Find out what really bothers you

To have success, you have to eliminate what you don’t want.Decide what you really hate, and be specific. So don’t say you hate your job. See what you think is just as annoying. Is it your critical boss? The amount of work? Your vague job description? Or everything together? What bothers you, and how can you change it? And how eager do you want to change it?

5.Decide what makes you really happy

Your life is only meaningful if it makes you happy.Happiness is the motive behind all your desires. So take some time to think about what makes you happy. Is it traveling? Dealing with Children? Lead a successful business? The relationship with your partner? Financial security? Once you know what makes you the most happy, you know what you should strive for in your life.

6.Let others know what you want to achieve

Don’t keep your goals and desires for yourself.Let them hear. When you tell others what you are trying to accomplish, they will often be willing to support you and give new ideas.

7.Stay positive

Life does not always go as you would like it to be.Don’t get discouraged when your plans fail. Stay master over your life, and do your best to go along in the change. You will eventually hit it. You just make a detour. Sometimes a positive attitude is all you need to sustain.

Euhm, I am 45 and must conclude that goals set is a fucking stupid philosophy of life. We are taught to think so.But it does not work, the world changes, you change it can happen things that make all about hope. Follow your feelings and see where you come true!

I am 60 and I still don’t know, what I want to be when I’m big.

I do know that the quest for visions and goals is very beautiful and fun.

As soon as you are sure to know what the answer is, then it is well wrong.Then you are old, independent of your age. Rusted. Life is over.
