How do you remember the order of the planets in our solar system?
When Pluto (until 2006) was considered one of the planets of the solar system, 9 planets were counted: from the sun closest to the sun, Mercury was the furthest Pluto.
An easy-to-keep sentence helped to remember the planets at their distance from the Sun:
Mein Vater Erklärte m jeden Samstag Unsere Neun Planeten.
This corresponds in order from the sun:
Merkur, Venus, Erde, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptun and formerly Pluto
With 8 planets the following sentence is to be noted:
Me in V ater He clarifies M ir J eden Sa mstag U nsere N atur.
This corresponds in order from the sun:
Merkur, Venus, Erde, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptun.
