Does God punish bad people in their lifetimes or only when they are dead?

Hello Elke Markgraf!

I find it commendable to meet you again so quickly; this shows strong religious interest!

In the following examples, God has punished living persons:

1Moses 4/11,12: the life of Jehovah was made difficult for Cain’s murderer.

Genesis 6/1 – 7/24: through the Flood a world of wicked people has been eliminated.

Genesis 18/20 – 19/25: Because of the unnatural practice of homosexuality, Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed.

Jonah 3/1-10: Nineveh repented of the Prophet’s sermon and was spared. (Genesis 14:18) (NW)……. ‘Jehovah, slowly to anger and overflowing in loving goodness, which forgives transgression and transgression, but will in no way grant deliverance from punishment, which brings punishment for the transgression of the fathers upon sons, over the third generation and the fourth generation.’

(Hebrews 10:29) (NW)……. To what much stricter punishment, you think, will be respected the value that tramples the Son of God underfoot, and who respects the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified than of ordinary value, and who gr枚blich the spirit of undeserved goodness through contempt. has been injured?

There is only one founder of religion who, by an exact and detailed prophecy that was fulfilled in him, has declared himself to be coming from God: Jesus Christ.

Prophecy Fulfillment

Hebrew Scriptures Christian Scriptures

BORN FROM THE TRIBE OF JUDAH

Genesis 49/10 Mat.1/1,2

All the kings of Judah from David to the last, Zedekiah, came from the tribe of Judah; from Babylonian exile to the appearance of the Messiah, there was no longer a Judean king, only governors of the respective ruling world power. The one “to whom it belongs” was supposed to appear at the beginning of the first century, but not yet appear as an incumbent regent; he was first to act as a Redeemer.

BORN IN BETHLEHEM

Mica 5/2 Mat.2/1

There were two Bethlehem in Palestine, hence the clarification of the prophet “Bethlehem-Ephratha”.An important indication of the Prophet is that the expected Messiah has a pre-human existence.

BORN OF A VIRGIN

Jess:7/14 Mat.1/22,23

CHILDREN’S MURDER

Jer:31/15 Mat.2/17,18

Matthew certainly wrote down the historical truth.Critics doubt the historicity of this event, because there is no archaeological confirmation, which in itself proves nothing; it has often been the case that historians have been reluctant to report the indecency of rulers.

How does this prophecy be explained; if not by God?And this prophecy is one of many. Smart minds think it was written down retrospectively. This interpretation is refuted by the fact that the Jews 鈥?who do not believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah 鈥?also have them in their Bible.
