Hello Dave Schoeninger!
no!Death is a dreamless sleep.
(Preacher 9:10) (NW)……. All that your hand finds to do do with all your strength, for there is no action, nor planning, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the sheel, the place where you go.
Translation basis of the biblical quotations: NW translation
Death is a dreamless sleep until the time of resurrection.According to the erroneous doctrine of an immortal soul, many believe that they will go somewhere after dying. What does the Bible say?
On the topic “Soul” and “Death”
In an exact translation, where the Hebrew word “nephesch” and the Greek word “psyche” is consistently reproduced with “soul”, it is clear what the Bible writers understood by a “soul”
Man: a living soul
Genesis 2/7 (NW)……… And Je.h.ova God set out to form man out of dust from the ground, and to blow into his nose the opules of life, and man became a living soul.
1.Cor.15/45-49 (NW)….. Thus it is also written: “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a living spirit.
Souls are living beings, whether animal or human,
Genesis 1/20,21 (NW)…… And God went on to say, “The waters shall be a whimper of living souls, and flying creatures shall fly at the front of the expanse of the heavens above the earth.” 21 And God went to create the great sea monsters, and every living soul that stirs, who swarmed the waters, according to their species, and every winged flying creature according to its kind. And God then saw that [it was good].
Genesis 1/24,25 (NW)… And God went on to say, “The earth bring forth living souls according to their species, pets and raining animals and wild animals of the earth according to their species.” And so it was.
And God went to make the wild beasts of the earth according to their kind, and the pet according to its kind, and every stirring beast of the earth after its kind. And God then saw that [it was good].
Genesis 1/28 (NW)… Be fruitful, and become many, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and keep the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens subject, and every living creature that stirs on the earth.
Genesis24/17,18 (NW)…….. And if a man kills any human soul, he should inevitably be put to death.
And whoever kills the soul of a pet should provide a substitute for it, soul for soul.
Genesis 19/28 (NW)………
And you shall not make incisions in your flesh because of a dead soul, and you shall not put a tattoo sign on you.I am J.ehov.a
Genesis 6/6 (NW)……… Every day when he considers himself separate for Je.hov.a, he must not come to a dead soul.
Jos.11/11 (NW)……… And they went to smite every soul that was in it with the edge of the sword, [by consecrated it to destruction]
Hes.18/4 (NW)……….. See!All souls 鈥?they belong to me. Like the soul of the Father, as well as the soul of the Son鈥?they belong to me. The soul that sins 鈥?it itself will die.
The term “soul” in the sense of “life (in general)”
Genesis 9/4.5 (NW)………… Only flesh with his soul鈥?his blood 鈥?you shall not eat.And besides, I will reclaim your blood, that of your souls. From the hand of every living creature I will reclaim it; and from the hand of man, from the hand of every one who is his brother, I will reclaim the soul of man.
Mat.2/20 (NW)……… And he said, “Arise, take the little child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel, for those who sought the little child’s soul are dead.”
Acts 27/10 . – (NW) Mr President, I would like to ………. saying to them, “Men, I notice that shipping will be associated with damage and great loss, not only for the cargo and the ship, but also for our souls.
Offb.16/3 (NW)……….And the second poured out his bowl into the sea.And there was blood as of a dead man, and every living soul died, even all that was in the sea.
No benefit of humans in front of the animal when dying
Pred.3/18-20 (NW)…….I, yes, have said in my heart with regard to the sons of men that the [true God will read them out so that they may see that they are beasts in themselves).
For there is a randomness with regard to the sons of human beings and a randomness with regard to the animal, and the same randomness hits them.As one dies, so the other dies; and they all have only e i n e n spirit, so that there is no superiority of man over the beast, for all is nullity.
All go to e i n e n place. They have all become out of the dust
Pred.9/5 (NW)……….. For the living are aware that they will die; but as for the dead, they are not aware of the least, nor have they any reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.
Their love and hatred and jealousy have already passed, and they will no longer have any part in anything to do under the sun for the foreseeable future.
Statement of Jesus
John 11/11-14 Lazarus is asleep; Verse 23:24; no thought that he will live on immediately
These things he said, and then he said to them, “L’zarus, our friend, is to Calm, but I go there to wake him out of sleep.” 12 Therefore the disciples said to him, “Lord, when he has gone to rest, he will be healed.” 13 Jesus, however, had spoken of his death. But they thought he was talking about the rest of sleep. 14 Therefore Jesus said to them freely, “Lazarus has died, death is a dreamless sleep.Lazarus has not experienced anything in the state of death; moreover, if Lazarus had been in a better afterlife, it would have been a lovelessness of Jesus to bring him back from there.
Sa.tan told Eve in the Garden of Eden that people would not die despite transgressing the commandment of God.Since they have nevertheless died, he tried to support the first by a second lie, namely by the lie that only the body dies, but an immortal soul lives on.
Why we have to die
Adam inherited imperfection through his transgression and could not pass on anything else to his descendants.

Why does God allow evil?
A question that concerns many people, especially religious ones!God, under whose inspiration the Bible was written, knew in the first place that this question would be asked, and answered it in His Word.
Genesis 3/1-5 (Egg)……….The serpent was smarter than all the beasts of the field that God the Lord had made. She said to the woman, “Did God really say, You must not eat from any tree of the garden?” The woman answered the serpent, “We may eat of the fruits of the trees in the garden; only of the fruits of the tree that stands in the midst of the garden, God said, “You must not eat of this, and you shall not stir from it, or you will die.” Then the serpent said to the woman, “No, you will not die. Rather, God knows that as soon as you eat it, your eyes are clear; you become like God and know good and evil.
The serpent (Satan, the devil, cf.Rev.12/9) makes the claim that they would not die; with it he accused God of lying; with this not enough, he slady God by insinuating that by forbidding men to withhold something good (namely, the agency which is good and evil)
But in doing so he indirectly asserted that God would not exercise his dominion out of love.From this he concluded that God would not exercise his dominion lawfully;
Satan thus denied the legitimacy of God’s dominion or sovereignty, not his omnipotence.
It would have been easy for God to eliminate the rebels, but would the issues raised then have been resolved? The Angel. who became Satan, miss= needed his free will, he developed the pride of being worshipped himself (Mat.4/9). If God had removed Satan immediately, there would have been an external cause for further rebellion, namely the accusation on the part of various angels that they had suppressed the evidentiary procedure, whether Satan was right or not. The probability of a rebellion would therefore have been much more likely than in the case of Satan’s personal rebellion alone. The uncertainty of an unresolved question would therefore have persisted forever and would have led to disharmony forever.
The other possibility of starting again with a new pair of people would have led God to reproach him for not being able to carry out his purpose of creating the earthly paradise with the descendants of Adam and Eve; apart from the fact that this couple of people would also have had a free will and thus the possibility would have been that everything would be repeated.
When a child is told what it would enlarge if it attacks the hot oven, there are only two ways to convince the child of the correctness of the explanation 1) The child is so convinced of the parents’ love of truth that they simply believe the parents.2) The child convinces himself through practical experience. Globally, there are only these two possibilities. Eve believed the serpent more than God. Adam made the mistake of loving his wife more than God, and willingly joined the rebellion (1 Tim.2/13).
God did what any righteous judge would do: he allowed Satan to provide the proof of the veracity of his claims; In the course of this evidentiary procedure, God allowed Satan to become the ruler of this world (John 14/30; 1.John.5/19).God first let people (starting with Adam and Eve) go their own way.
Or another illustration:
In a class, the teacher teaches mathematics. For example, he presents the solution of a mathematical problem and says that this way is the shortest solution. A student gets up and claims that he knows an even shorter solution. What would a justice-loving teacher do now? Reprimand the student as naughty or even expel him from school? no! He would press the chalk in his hand and ask him to prove his claim! And so did Jeh.. ova; he “pressed the chalk in the devil’s hand” and gave him sufficient time to prove his claims.
If a child is facing an appendectomy, responsible parents would not feed the child with painkilling tablets, but would expose the child to the pain of surgery to save his or her life; je.hova has also exposed humanity to the pain of experience, which means not following the leadership http://Jehov.as; and this means eternal life for those who draw the right conclusion from it and act accordingly.
The quality that emerges here is the righteousness of God, precisely for clarifying the questionsraised.
After the first human couple had cut off their connection to God, i.e. to the living, imperfection was the result, and as a result illness and death.Since we are descended according to the heredites laws of Adam and Eve, all men have experienced this bad inheritance. Paul writes in this regard:
Romans 5/12 (NW)……… Therefore, just as by e i n n man sin came into the world, and through sin death, and thus death spread to all men, because they had all sinned.
The idea expressed here is generally known as ‘original sin’.:
The descendants of Adam have thus slipped into this situation without personal guilt, so God has already expressed in the Garden of Eden a prophecy that contains a glimmer of hope for mankind, namely that once the “snake” would trample the head, which would bring freedom.
As the Book of Job shows, Satan expanded his claims even further (Job 1/6-12)
Job 1/6-12 (Egg) ……. Now it came to pass one day, that the sons of God came to stand before the Lord; among them came Satan. The Lord said to Satan, “Where do you come from?” Satan answered the Lord and said, “I have roamed the earth, back and forth.” The Lord said to Satan, Have you paid attention to my servant Job? There is no like ness on earth, so blameless and righteous, he fears God and shuns evil. Satan answered the Lord and said, “Is it for no reason that Job fears God?” Are you not the one who protects him, his house, and all his things around him? You have blessed the actions of his hands; his possessions has spread widely in the country. But stretch out your hand against him, and touch on all that is his; truly, he will curse you in the face. The Lord said to Satan, “Well, all his possessions are in your hand, but not stretch out your hand against him.” Then Satan walked away from the face of the Lord.
As a result, Job lost all his possessions and also his children; but nothing could shake Job’s faith in God,
A second time Satan questioned Job’s integrity, and God allowed him to touch Job’s health.Whereupon Job was beaten all over the body with bumps and according to his smell could not even enter the house. Interesting in his accusation against Job is the following sentence of Satan:
Job 2/4 (Egg)……… Satan answered the Lord and said, Skin for skin!Everything man possesses, he gives for his life
The phrase“Everything man possesses” shows that Satan had not only Job in mind, but every human being when he claims that his life is worth more to him than loyalty to God.
It also requires time to clarify this claim.Job did not understand why these misfortunes came upon him, for he said:
Job 1/21 (Egg) ……. Naked, I came out of my mother’s lap, naked I return there. The Lord has given, the Lord has taken, praise be the name of the Lord.
Job’s behaviour was not and remains an isolated incident.Since Abel already mentioned the Bible persons who Jehov.. a faithfully devoted. Satan suffered the main defeat over his claim when the Son of God, Jesus, lived. As a result of the action of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was born as a perfect man and remained sinless until his death. Through his sacrificial death for the benefit of humanity, he has 100% refuted Satan’s argument about people’s loyalty to God. After the earthly time of Jesus, there were many other faithful servants of God who, under satanic pressure, maintained their loyalty to Je.hova. Satan’s assertion in this respect has thus already been unequivocally refuted.
As for Satan’s assertion in the Garden of Eden, namely that independence from God would be more beneficial to the human race, is also almost decided.Neither religions nor human rule have been able to create paradise; indeed, the conditions of today’s world clearly prove this. The traditional religions have rather led to strife and war; and politically, humanity sits on a powder keg. With conventional weapons, you can wipe out all life on Earth not even, but a good twenty times.
In addition to pollution, moral pollution is becoming increasingly apparent.History has thus provided clear proof that man (under the leadership of Satan) is unable to bring about true peace, security, welfare for all, and certainly not liberation from disease, infirmity and death. As a result, the evidentiary procedure is coming to an end. Satan could not prove that men under his dominion were better off than under the dominion of God.
Thus, as biblical prophecy shows, the time has come for God to spoil, according to Rev.11/18, those who perish the earth, which means that the global trial of evidence is complete and judgment is upon the corner. All that is left is to collect those who willingly submit to the dominion of God by changing their lives according to God’s needs.
With these people, god will create a new world order after the execution of the judgment, thus proving that his dominion is the best and that he is able to create paradise with the descendants of Adam and Eve.
This global evidentiary process will indelibly imprint itself in the memory of the entire rational creation as a precedent and will create the basis for immediately solving a possible case of rebellion.
Regarding the restoration of things, the Lord’s Prayer states:
Mat.6/10 /Egg)……… Your kingdom come, your will be done as in heaven, so on theearth.
God had them announced before the courts in past times, for example before the Flood (2.Peter.2/5) or before Babylonian captivity (Jer.25/11,12).J.. eho.vas Ze.. on the basis of the rich prophecy of the Bible, we have recognized that we live in the time before the divine judgment and make this known worldwide. The Code of the Kingdom of God is the Scriptures, hence the encouragement on the part of the members of all to deal with it more. There are the requirements that God places on those who want to live under His kingdom.
Jehovah’s Witnesses are willing and free to help people learn the Bible (more precisely).
LG H>P (variable)
[1) the word “recognize” has three meanings in the Bible 1) “know” or “understand knowledge” 2) “decide” analogously, forexample, to the “knowledge of the Supreme Court” (cf.1.Moses 3/22), 3) Sexual intercourse (Genesis 4/1 according to various translations).
Point 3 is not true here, nor is point 1, because adam knew according to the given commandment what is good and evil according to the point of view of God.
